Missionaries visit SCA
During the month of March, SCA had some special visitors who came to speak with them about missions. Below are some pictures of the missionaries who shared what God is doing in the lives of people around the world.
 Below is a video that shows the damage left by the tornado that hit Savannah Christian Academy and Sharon Baptist Church. We are thankful that God’s hand was so clearly upon us and we look forward to the blessings that are to come!

SCA Recognizes Math Olympic Participants & Beta Club!
These students returned from the ACSI Math Olympics held at ECS (Evangelical Christian School) on April 2nd. Students who placed in the top five received special recognition. From SCA, the students who received this honor were: Lucy Young, 5th place in eighth grade computation; Peyton Ewoldt, 5th place in third grade reasoning; Sydne Grimes, 2nd place in third grade computation; Emily Fleeman, 1st place in fifth grade computation.
The following group of students represent SCA’s first Beta Club. Ms. Patricia Campbell has organized this group which is made up of students who receive no more than two B’s per six weeks and who demonstrate leadership skills. This is open to students in grades 5-9.
SCA settles in at FUMC
As the weeks have quickly passed, the students of SCA have settled in to their new surroundings at First United Methodist Church. The student body is ever so grateful for the provisions God has bestowed upon them through the ministry of FUMC.
Savannah Christian Academy
Philosophy of Education:
The educational philosophy of Savannah Christian Academy is the teaching of academics through a Biblical worldview, acknowledging education as a component of one’s walk with God. The educational process should minister to the mind as well as to the spirit in order to enable a student to reach his/her full potential, as endowed by his/her Creator.
Points of Interest:
*SCA is entering its eleventh year, educating students in grades K-9.
*SCA is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) as well as by SACS (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools).
*All teachers are certified to teach, and are teaching within the areas of their certification.
*Spanish is taught to students in kindergarten through eighth grade
*SCA offers weekly chapel services.
*Organized P.E. classes are conducted at each grade level.
*SCA is involved in global missions, currently supporting the following organizations: Servant Group International, Christian Light Foundation, and Samaritan’s Purse.
