The Principal’s Post

WELCOME BACK STUDENTS!  SCHOOL BEGINS SEPTEMBER 2ND…it’s about time!

On Tuesday, we will once again return to our campus.  With grateful hearts and outstretched arms we will rejoice in God’s provisions for us.  We are so grateful to all who have helped us since the days of the tornado, especailly First United Methodist Church where we found refuge in a time of need.  We look forward to see what God has in store for us, certain that it never was the buildings that attracted His attention to our campus, but the presence of HIs precious children who gather together to learn from HIs word that they may take Him at His word.

To help with the identification of each building, please notice that each one is numbered beginning with Number 1 (closest to Cravens Road) and ending with Number 11 (furtherst from Cravens Road).  Parents may drop off their students in Building No. 7, which houses the cafeteria.   Buildings 1-5 are SCA classrooms; building 6 is the play area; building 7 is the cafeteria and houses Savannah Music Academy; building 8 has Sheltering Tree and a pre-school classroom; building 9 has the library and a pre-school classroom, and buildings 10-11 both contain pre-school classrooms and Ms. Marilyn’s office.

 GIRLS’ FALL SOCCER

We are pleased to announce that SCA will have girls’ soccer team this fall. All girls in grades 5-8 are eligible and encouraged to come out. We will start practice the second week of school on the practice field. The season will run from September through October and will be finished before basketball starts. Please let Mrs. Karen know if you are interested by calling the school.
